Jeffery Lawrence married Cindy Muggli in Williams, Minnesota in October 1978.

They had five children. Four boys and one girl. Jeffery Lawrence Jr. born October 13, 1978, Robert Alan, born February 4, 1980, Jessica Marie, born February 11, 1984, Michael James, born May 3, 1985 and a stillborn son in 1982.

Jeffery and Cindy divorced and Jeffery remarried. He married Owasa Carter.
