She lived in Bradford 4 years with son
Albert, since 1870 lived with Chas. A. Quaife, Ionia
Both buried in Greenwood Cemetery,
Nashua, Iowa (burial records may refer to
Charles and Albert Quaife)

Albert E. Quaife, B. April 17, 1842,
Providence, R.I.; D. June 16, 1906, Nashua, Ia. (Greenwood Cemetery)
Parents were employees in a factory - moved about to get jobs - 1852 farm
in Oswego Co. N.Y. 1855 came to
Elgin, Ill. but in same year moved to Chickasaw Co. northeast of Ionia and lived
there until 1860. He taught school,
walked to Grinnell to attend college. Aug.
21, 1862 enlisted for 3 years Co. H 28 Ia. Vol. Inf. returned from service and
lived a few years in Bradford, then moved to his farm near Ionia.
He came to Nashua 1895 (acreage near the fair grounds) (buried Greenwood
C)
1st married Mar. 29, 1867
Laura Anna Kenyon of Vermont, born Apr. 10, 1843 Vt (Vermont),
died Feb. 11, 1869, leaving one daughter, who also passed away (dau was Anna
L. Quaife Winnie 1869 - 1899 about 30 years)
2nd m. Feb. 21, 1871 Barbara Hine, B.
Nov. 20, 1852, Johnson Co., Ill.; D. Mar. 3, 1896 Nashua, buried Greenwood C.
3rd m - 1898 Mrs. Hattie (Cheney)
Miller of Riverton Twp, Floyd Co.(original
document has ditto marks next to information about Hattie Miller, taken by
editor to mean that she also is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Nashua, Iowa)
survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. C. W. Simonson,
Stevens Point, Wisc.; Helen Quaife of Nashua (taken
by editor to refer to daughters of Barbara Hine and Albert Quaife)
She was named after her mother
Delilah Cagley Hine (nee Delilah Quaife)

Chas. Quaife Nichols died Aug. 23,
1973, Orlando, Fla. born June 20,
1897 Waverly, Ia. son of Ed & Anna L. Quaife
Winne. At the age of 2 yrs his
mother died and he was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nichols of Waverly, Ia.
On Sept. 25, 1918 he married Nellie Lydia Fox, 2 sons. Rev. Frank
Nichols, Creston, Iowa; Dr. Roger Nichols, North Scituate, Mass. Bailey's
